Quantifying population-specific growth in benthic bacterial communities under low oxygen

Ömer K. Coskun (as first author) and Volkan Özen and co-authors studied the population-specific growth in benthic bacterial communities under low oxygen conditions. Published in The ISME Journal.

In the study H218O quantitative stable isotope probing (qSIP) was applied in order to quantify the growth of diverse, uncultured bacterial populations in response to low oxygen concentrations in estuarine sediments.
